When you visit the website, our hosting provider [Hivelocity] processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operation and security of the website). [Log retention period is 60 days.]
We only use one technically necessary session cookie (to remember the chosen language and to secure the administration area). It contains no tracking information and is deleted when the browser is closed. We do not use advertising services or third-party analytics (see 6a for our own cookie-free audience measurement).
If you write to us via the contact form, we process your name, e-mail address and message to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is sent to us by e-mail and deleted once the enquiry is settled and no statutory retention duties apply.
For a rental request we store contact person, company, e-mail, phone, event, period and message in our database to prepare an offer. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). [Add deletion periods.]
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your e-mail address and the lists you chose (e.g. individual trade fairs). We use the double opt-in procedure: the subscription only becomes active after you click the confirmation link in the e-mail. As proof we store the time, IP address and source of the subscription. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter.
For sending we use [name of e-mail provider / own mail server]. Success measurement: Our newsletters contain an invisible counting pixel and personalised links. This lets us record per recipient whether and when a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked (open and click rates). The analysis is used to improve our content. We count page views on the server, without cookies and without storing IP addresses or browser identifiers: these details are only used to form a daily-changing, non-reversible short value (hash) that groups the visits of one day. We also store the page viewed, device type (desktop/mobile/tablet), referring site and, where available, the country. If your browser sends "Do Not Track", nothing is counted. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (audience measurement to improve our offering).
The fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server. Visiting the site does not open a connection to Google or any other font provider.
